Pokémon Solar Eclipse

Story

As a top graduate of Gardenia Academy, you awaken in the Solaria region—a land of staggering diversity where grassy plains meet mystical forests, ruined wastelands bleed into towns trapped in eternal autumn, and magical swamps hide secrets of an age long past. The region pulses with the residual cosmic energy of the Sunne Hero, an ancient figure who, alongside the Solar King, once ruled these lands and whose power still flows through the wild Pokémon, granting them enhanced strength. Your honor as a chosen Gym Challenger sets you on the traditional path to collect eight badges and ascend as the Solar Monarch, but this is no ordinary rookie journey—your every step is shadowed by the legacy of heroes and the weight of a history that refuses to stay buried. Your companions on this road could not be more different. Giltbert, your childhood friend and fellow Gym Challenger, radiates an infectious optimism and an unshakable drive to aid everyone around him, making him the kind of rival who pushes you forward through sheer positivity rather than spite. In stark contrast stands Diana, the top student of your rival class and a Gym Challenger whose distant, no-nonsense attitude masks a fierce, single-minded ambition to claim the Solar Monarch title for herself. Together, you form a trio of graduates whose intertwined paths force you to confront not only each other's strengths but your own reasons for chasing glory. Yet the road to the throne is never walked alone, and in Solaria, support comes with its own mysteries. Sol Inc.—known colloquially as Team Sol—presents itself as a benevolent organization dedicated to helping the region's Pokémon awaken their latent power, and as a Gym Challenger, you find many eager to lend their aid. But in a land where ancient cosmic energy still warps the natural world and the shadows of the Solar King loom over every town, the line between guidance and manipulation grows dangerously thin. As you battle through the Gym Challenge, the true nature of Team Sol's intentions and the deeper secrets of the Sunne Hero's legacy may prove to be the ultimate test—one that no badge alone can prepare you for.
